Connections Exhibition Launch

The opening event was held on 27 May at 6 pm. The opening speaker was Arthur Phillips, Artist and Teacher. Connections was an exhibition of oil paintings and jewellery by ten women artists who have forged friendships from their ongoing attendance at their oil painting class. Margaret Slape-Phillips is their tutor and also participated in the exhibition.

Each artist responded to themes in their own daily lives which they are passionate about. This resulted in diverse, colourful and individual interpretation of still life, landscapes, portraits, animals and creative jewellery pieces.
