The Calligraphic Line Exhibition
The Calligraphic Line exhibition opened on Friday 30 June 2017 at 6 pm.
The launch guest was Roland Eime, Founder, Calligraphy Society of South Australia.
The Calligraphy Society of SA was established in 1983. The aim was to promote calligraphy, the art of beautiful writing, and related arts such as illumination, lettering, flourishing, bookbinding and artistic techniques to the community.
The group is made up of like-minded people with a passion for calligraphy that strive to produce beautiful works of prose or poetry. They also develop lettering techniques into art forms in a contemporary and creative way.
Works were displayed by members of all standards of expertise, from humble beginners to the professional.
