The George Bolton Swimming Centre summer season concludes on Sunday 27 April 2025.

From Monday 28 April 2025 until Friday 26 September 2025 the centre will be open for a winter season with shorter operating hours.

Pools will be cleared of patrons 10 minutes before close time. 

The centre is closed on Good Friday.

The George Bolton Swimming Centre Burnside is a Watch Around Water Endorsed Pool and is committed to providing a safe and family friendly environment.

Accessibility

  • Accessible toilets: 3 family/disabled toilets, 1 ambulant toilet in male change room and 1 ambulant toilet in female change room.
  • One Changing Places facility - includes shower, toilet, adult change table and hoist system.
  • Disabled car parking: 2 spaces accessed via service drive in Hazelwood Park.
  • Access ramps into building and around pools.
  • Ramp entry into main pool.
  • Fully fenced.
