The Pools
All outdoor pools are heated to 27 degrees.
Main Pool
The main pool is an 8 lane, 50 metre lap pool with a sloped depth from 1.1 to 1.8 metres. There is either ramp or step entry into the pool. An aquatic wheelchair is available at the pool to assist with entry.
Learners' Pool
The learners' pool features underwater observation windows down the deeper end with new mosaic artwork to view from inside the pool. The pool has stepped entry with a sloped depth from 0.7 to 0.9 metres with shade over part of the pool.
Toddlers' Pool
Come and check out our interactive play equipment over by the toddlers' pool. The pool is covered by a shade with a depth that starts as beach entry and slopes to 0.4 metres.
Cafe/Kiosk
The George Bolton Swimming Centre Burnside Café/Kiosk offers espresso coffee, ice creams and snacks as well as hot food and sandwiches.
The Cafe/Kiosk has a service window to Hazelwood Park and is open throughout the pool season.
Playgrounds & Barbecues
The lawn area hosts children's play equipment, picnic seating and free electric barbecues.
Changerooms
Male, female and two family/all-access change rooms are positioned directly off the foyer and within easy access of the main pool area. Lockers are also available for hire.

The George Bolton Swimming Centre Burnside stocks a range of swim products including;
