Playgrounds

Council maintains and operates 34 playgrounds throughout the City. These come in all shapes and sizes and our aim is to provide a range of innovative play spaces and to reinvigorate existing playgrounds and play opportunities.

One of Council’s most popular playgrounds is the national award winning Burnside Adventure Park.

Playground Strategy

In the upcoming year Council is working on the upgrades of the playgrounds that have been identified in the Playground Strategy as the highest priority.
