Justice of the Peace
The position of Justice of the Peace most commonly involves witnessing documents such as passport applications and wills. Justices of the Peace volunteer their services to provide an integral link in the judicial system.
A Justice of the Peace service is provided at Burnside Civic Centre, Customer Service Centre at the following times. No appointment is necessary.
Please note that Council staff are unable to assist with witnessing documents. If you require a witness, you will need to bring a second witness.
