Park Hire

Casual Hire

For private events (excluding Weddings) there are two park areas available for hire within the City of Burnside, listed below. These parks are available for hire 7 days a week from 9 am to 5 pm. Submit an application for casual hire online below.

Picnic-style gatherings of up to 60 people in attendance with no third-party contractors (i.e. amusements, catering, entertainers, hired equipment) are permitted in our parks and reserves without a booking.

Please note that Hazelwood Park is not available to hire for organised events (aside from Wedding Ceremonies in two dedicated locations).

Kensington Wama/Kensington Gardens Reserve

It is the largest recreational area in the City of Burnside and is home to a range of sporting clubs and includes the Waite, Parkinson and Ford Ovals, wetlands and the Burnside Adventure Park.

Tusmore Park

Stirling Street, Tusmore 5065

This is a tranquil park featuring mature trees, lawns and landscaped areas. The First Creek transverses through the park and the toddler wading pool is a great place for children to play in.
