Overview:
Reporting to the Volunteer Supervisor, the Community Centre Events volunteer will support staff, contractors, participants and other volunteers in relation the the smooth operation of the special event.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of the Community Centre event by carrying out appropriate logistical, operational and customer service roles
- Attend all necessary briefings and training relating to the role
- Carry out a variety of appropriate operational roles for preparation and conclusion of an event
- Welcome participants and assist with general enquiries
- Assist with conducting special event activities and demonstrations and supervision of participants who are participating in activities
- Prepare and serve refreshments as required
- Set up and pack up of event, leaving the area in a clean and tidy manner
- Work with other volunteers and staff in the generation and delivery of events
- Undertake all works in a manner that meets with current Work Health & Safety Regulations and Council Policies

- A Police Clearance is required to be maintained with this position and held current every three (3) years.
