Community Transport drivers and assistants needed:
Shopping Bus Trips (Toyota Hiace) -various shifts
Community Car Based Service (Vehicle) - various shifts
Charter Social Bus - various shifts
Responsibilities
- To drive the Community Transport Vehicles in the operation of route service and charter driving
- Promotion and provision of information in relation to the Community Transport Program
- Demonstrate safe and responsible driving practices as per the Road Traffic Act 1961 (SA Legislation)
- Maintain the vehicle in a clean and tidy manner
Experience/Qualifications
- Good communication and interpersonal skills characterised by patience, clarity and empathy
- Ability to communicate effectively in particular, with elderly people
- Work as part of a team
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Background checks (Police Check and DHS Aged Care Clearance)
- A medical exam from Council's preferred Clinic stating fit for the required duties
- Accredited First Aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Certificate
