Interested in volunteering at the Pepper Street Arts Centre? Basic requirements are: customer interaction in person, and from time to time by phone; being comfortable to handle cash and eftpos sales; working in a self sufficient but supported environment; flexible with a variable pace from busy to quiet in response to visitor needs; values the place of creative endeavours in our community.
If you are comfortable with the following combination of requirements, this might be for you:
- face to face communications in a public space
- gift shop service and upkeep
- following procedures (including COVID safety)
- willing to 'jump in' to assist with varied housekeeping tasks,
- available on average, one shift per fortnight on a continue basis (may be in a relief capacity to start),
In return we provide an enjoyable environment, supportive 'on the job' training by onsite staff with a view to independence in the role, and shifts that are generally 3-4 hours, within a great local community.
Shifts required:
Coffee Shop -Tuesday 1pm - 5pm (1 position) and Wednesday 10am - 1pm (1 position)
Gift Shop - Wednesday 1pm - 5pm (1 position) and Friday 10am -1pm (1 position)
