Online Rates Searches

Searches can only be ordered online. Manual requests are no longer being accepted.

Search prices

From 1 July 2024:

  • Full Search - $68.75
  • Additional Section 7 - $28.50
  • Rates Search - $40.25

Please be aware that all Searches expire at the end of the financial year. For the new financial year rates you will need to order a Section 187 in the next financial year period.

Types of certificates

This online service is used for ordering the following types of certificates:

  • Section 187 - Rate Certificates.
  • Update - Free within 3 months of your original Search, or if your original Search was ordered in June there is a 1 month grace period to get new Rates for the next financial year.
  • Section 7 - Council search (Certificate of Title required).
  • Full Search - Section 187 + Section 7 (Certificate of Title required).

Timeframe

  • Rates Section 187 Search Requests - electronically delivered within 15 minutes of ordering, will be attached to the confirmation email.
  • Council Section 7 Search Requests - will be electronically delivered within eight business days, by 5 pm at the latest on the eighth day. Please note that Council is not currently offering Urgent Search requests. All Searches will be processed within the eight business day timeframe.

Registration
