Alexandra Avenue Plantation

This avenue plantation is a memorial to soldiers from the Burnside District who lost their lives during World War I. The plantation is registered on the State Heritage List. Trees are English Oak and English Elm.The loss of elms in other countries due to Dutch Elm Disease further increases the value of this avenue.
