Wood Park

This park consists of trees, grassed areas and a playground. The centre of the park is paved in checkerboard and hopscotch patterns. Playground is covered with a shade sail.

• Car-themed playpod with 2 slides, ladders and steps
• Spinning seat
• Raised platform/bench
• 2 x swings (including 1 toddler)
• 1 x nest swing
• Soft fall type: mulch
• Shade structure

The significant trees are Lemon Scented Gums which were commonly planted in Burnside in the 1960s and 1970s. Of historical interest is an olive crusher used by GF Cleland and Sons.
