History

The Burnside Town Hall is a beautiful 1920s hall that was originally used by the community for concerts, dances and meetings. It was modified in the 1950s following construction of the Ballroom and used as a storage area, office space and rehearsal room for the Burnside Symphony Orchestra and Burnside Youth Concert Band. In 2019 it was renovated and returned to its former glory. Further works through 2020 - 2022 included an upgrade to adjacent amenities, installation of acoustic panelling and a PA system.
