Quilters' Guild of SA

The Quilters' Guild was formed in 1984 and has grown to encompass over 500 individual Guild members with over 100 city and country groups now affiliated with the Guild.

The aims of the Guild are to:

  • Promote the art of patchwork and quilting.
  • Provide a central bureau for quilters in South Australia.
  • Encourage the formation and maintenance of quilters' groups.
  • Seek, encourage, and maintain a high standard of design and technique in both traditional and contemporary quilt making.
  • Organise and partake in exhibitions and workshops.
  • Provide knowledge and skills with regards to quilt making in South Australia.
  • Maintain a library.

You are welcome to join us at our monthly meetings held at Burnside Community Centre on the first Thursday of each month from February to December at 7.15 pm for 8 pm start.
