This workshop is specifically for dads, stepdads, foster dads, grandfathers, or any male caregiver, and is facilitated by a male trainer. It focuses on parenting from a dad’s perspective and includes an introduction to understanding child development. It has been designed to compliment the My Child and Me sessions That the City of Burnside is also running.
Topics covered include:
- The importance of being a dad
- Building a positive relationship
- Guiding and setting limits
- Co-parenting
- Taking care of yourself
- Keeping children safe

Thursday, 31 October 6.00 pm - 8.30 pm
Please note that attendance at both sessions is required to ensure you receive the full benefits of the program. Each session builds on the previous one, so your participation in both is essential for a comprehensive experience.
