Sketch Group 

Are you a budding or experienced Portrait Sketcher?

Join this group on a Thursday afternoon. Their mantra is ‘Learn by Doing’.  There is no tutor. All participants draw at their own pace, some have been coming many years and developed excellent skills.

Others are newer, have had some exposure to portrait sketching but use this session each week to ‘practice, practice, practice’. Often there is a volunteer sitter, at other times you will sit for each other. It is a very supportive and friendly group who welcome new participants. $4 to attend, casual on the day. No bookings, first in best dressed for a spot.  Session starts at 1.30 pm.

At 3 pm the group gathers for a cuppa in the Centre’s coffee shop with their sitter and share their sketches. Bring your own materials and have a lovely afternoon!

Dates: Every Thursday except public holidays, resuming Thursday 30 January 2025.
Times: 1.30 pm - 3 pm
Cost: $4 per sketcher (please register in the Gift Shop on arrival)
