Snap Stitch and Paint Exhibition Launch

The 2016 Snap Stitch Paint exhibition by Certificate IV Visual Arts students of Marden Senior College was presented by Textile, Painting and Photography students. The students have diverse backgrounds and age groups and they have all benefitted from being in a creative environment, sharing ideas and being encouraged to produce high quality works.

The emerging artists have presented a diverse body of work that included intricate textile wall hangings, complex installations, detailed painting and drawing as well as abstract and figurative photography. Themes that were explored included natural and built environments, philosophical musings, childhood stories and patterns.

The exhibition launch was on 18 March and the exhibition was open until 15 April 2016.
