Art runs in the family for one group of local artists who will launch their exhibition at the Pepper Street Arts Centre on Friday 29 April 2011.

Husband and wife, Herbert and Gisela Sanders and their daughter Marika and her husband Robert, together with their daughters Lilly and Ella and a large group of their close friends, have put together an exhibition of their impressive work, The Sander Family and Friends Mixed Media Exhibition.

Gisela - primarily a sculpture artist was a founding member of the South Australian Pottery Club and Herbert has been painting since a young man and continues to experiment in oils today.

The Sander Family and Friends mixed media exhibition is a fantastic display of artistic passion and talent shared across three generations.

The exhibition showcases a range of works including sculpture, oils, acrylics, pencil and bronze.

The event will be officially opened by, Monika Toonen, on Friday, 29 April 2011 at 6 pm. A classical guitar performance will also be performed by Daniel Ciurleo.

All works are for sale and will be available to view at Pepper Street Arts Centre until Friday 20 May 2011. Proceeds of all work by Robert Jeffery will go to Anglicare. Pepper Street Arts Centre is open Tuesday to Saturday 12 noon until 5pm.
