Painting and Ceramics

‘I am an artist and I love my job. I have a Bachelor of Visual Arts in painting and ceramics, and an Art Therapy Degree. Art allows us the freedom to explore the good, the bad, the ugly. There is no wrong in art.

Oil, acrylic, watercolour, pen, pastel, charcoal pencil - all feel limitless in their application. The tactile nature and versatility of these media is what I love.

The size of the work is not important, along with the complexity or simplicity.

I take delight in mark making and in telling my story - a record of place, event, or experience. I have found that if you are invested emotionally, the work will have heart and soul.’
