Australia Day 2023

The City of Burnside Australia Day Celebration will be held on Thursday 26 January in Hazelwood Park which will include a Citizenship Ceremony, entertainment, barbecue breakfast and announcement of the Citizen of the Year Awards.

This is a free community event, no registration required.

All new citizens and invited guests are asked to be checked in and registered by 8.45 am at the latest. Please see a staff member on arrival.

Please note: Seating inside the event marquee is strictly reserved for new citizens and their immediate families. Additional seating is provided outside the marquee area to watch the ceremony.
